Predators sign free agent Palin
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Nashville Predators have signed free agent defenseman Brett Palin to a one-year contract.
Palin, who spent the last five seasons with the Calgary Flames' AHL affiliates, signed a contract worth $550,000 at the NHL level and $105,000 at the AHL level.
The 26-year-old from Nanaimo, British Columbia, played with Predators captain Shea Weber during a five-season stint with the Western Hockey League's Kelowna Rockets.
He was limited to 21 games due to injury this past season.
