Elginbull; Tony M. Curry, of the 300 block of West Lockman, Chicago, faces a pair of felony charges, after police said he sold heroin to an undercover police officer in Elgin near a park on Wednesday. Curry was charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver within 1,000 feet of a park and possession of a controlled substance, according to a police report. If found guilty of the most serious charge, Curry could spend between six and 30 years in prison.bull; Mario B. Williams, 21, of the 1400 block of Getzelman Drive, was charged with burglary and obstruction of justice Wednesday in the 1300 block of Royal Boulevard, according to a police report. Police said he stole an iPod and a wallet from a Nissan Pathfinder. He has an Oct. 7 court date.bull; Wynston V. Day, 27 of the 600 block of St. Charles Street, was charged with felony retail theft Wednesday, accused of stealing three cartons of cigarettes, worth more than $150, from CVS in the 500 block of Dundee Avenue, according to a police report. He has an Oct. 13 court date.bull; Michelle V. Villegas, 18, of the 500 block of Fremont Street, was charged with misdemeanor retail theft, accused of stealing cosmetics from Walmart, 1001 North Randall Road, according to a police report. She was released on her signature and she is scheduled to appear in court Monday.Lake in the Hillsbull; A 3-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was bitten by a dog Wednesday in the 1000 block of Viewpoint Drive, police said. No other information was available.Kane Countybull; A 35-gallon garbage can containing sodium hydroxide was reported abandoned Monday on the 2100 block of Haegers Bend Road in Dundee Township. Police said the can, sealed in duct tape, would have to be professionally cleaned up at a cost of $1,000 to $5,000. bull; A JVC car stereo, an iPod cable and an iPod charger were reported stolen Tuesday from an unlocked 1999 Oldsmobile Alero on the 12N900 block of Meadow Lark Drive, near Hampshire, police said. The loss was estimated at $400. bull; A TomTom GPS was reported stolen Tuesday from a locked 2005 Dodge Dakota on the 9N900 block of Heatherington Place, near Elgin, according to a police report. Police said a driver's side window was broken in the burglary.
