Pick up home-school tips in Crystal Lake talk

“Motivation for the Home-schooled Child will be presented by Judy Fitzpatrick of Annapolis from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, at Christian Fellowship Church, 3419 Walkup Road, Crystal Lake.

Fitzpatrick is an educational consultant that specializes in home-schooling children with learning challenges.

She shares her discoveries and techniques that she has used to equip parents in motivating and bringing education to life for their home-schooled children.

In this lecture, Fitzpatrick will offer practical tips to meet the challenges and strengths of your child. She relates with parents who love being home with their children.

She also relates with those who feel overwhelmed, defeated and those who experience all of these feelings in the course of one day. She will offer the tips she has discovered through her own years of challenges and successes.

Fitzpatrick is a speaker, home-schooling mom and educational consultant and lives in Annapolis, Md.
