Palatine to hold tryouts Aug. 7:

Tryouts for the 2011 Palatine Travelers boys baseball and girls softball programs will take place throughout the day on Saturday, Aug. 7.

Tryouts for the 10, 11, 12, 13 and 14-year-old baseball teams will be held at Hamilton Field in Palatine. Tryouts for the under 10, 12 and 14-year-old softball teams will be held at Community Park fields.
