Blue Jackets re-sign defenseman Clitsome

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Columbus Blue Jackets have re-signed defenseman Grant Clitsome to a one-year contract.

General Manager Scott Howson announced the signing Thursday. Terms of the contract were not released.

The 25-year-old Clitsome made his NHL debut with the Blue Jackets during the 2009-10 season and had one goal and two assists. He also played 64 games with the Syracuse Crunch of the American Hockey League, where he had five goals and 15 assists.

The Gloucester, Ontario, native was Columbus' 12th pick, and 271st overall, in the 2004 draft.
