Genevabull; The rear window to a house in the 700 block of Hawthorne Lane was broken, as was a red vase in the house, between 9 a.m. May 31 and 9 p.m. July 1, police said.bull; Pedro Avila, 33, of the 300 block of E. Blair Street in West Chicago, was charged with fleeing and eluding police, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding and driving without a valid license, at 3:10 a.m. July 4 in the 800 block of East State Street, according to a police report.bull; Someone stole 200 pounds of scrap aluminum, cut into 4- and 9-foot lengths, from the parking lot on the south side of ET Glass and Mirror, 1000 Commerce Drive, between 5 p.m. July 6 and 7 a.m. July 7, police said.bull; Sean J. Nettleton, 19, of the 300 block of Colonial Circle, was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia (a glass pipe and a brown plastic bottle fashioned in to a pipe) at 2:27 a.m. July 4 in the 500 block of West State Street, according to a police report.bull; Benjamin M. Williams, 19, of the 1200 block of Pomeroy Court in St. Charles, was charged July 1 with driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, a median violation, and possession of drug paraphernalia (two glass pipes) in the 1400 block of southbound Randall Road, according to a police report. He was also given a warning for having a defective windshield.bull; Mark Ruscitti, 43, was given tickets for interfering with police officers and making prohibited noises, during a "neighborhood dispute" at 7:57 p.m. July 3 in the 2500 block of Miller Road, according to a police report. He lives in the same block.bull; A Motorola Droid cellular telephone was stolen from the right leg pocket of a man's cargo shorts while he slept on a Metra train from Elmhurst to Geneva. The theft was discovered when he disembarked at the Geneva station at 11:40 p.m. June 18, police said. A box of Lemonheads candy had been left in place of the phone.bull; Zachary A. Desantis, of the 400 block of Longview Drive, was charged with public intoxication at 12:09 a.m. June 26 in the 700 block of North Street, police said.Kane Countybull; A burglary was reported Monday on the 1N100 block of Elm Road, near St. Charles, after a homeowner returned to find her television and surround-sound stereo missing. Police said the burglar apparently entered through an unlocked window. The loss was estimated at $450.Bataviabull; The front window of a house in the 800 block of South Jefferson Street was shattered by a BB, it was reported at 12:32 p.m. Monday, police said.bull; Two 20-year-olds from Aurora were charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at 7:27 p.m. Monday at McKee and Mill streets, according to a police report. Charged were Steven D. Kluber, of the 700 block of Audrey Avenue, and Christopher M. Weger, of the 1700 block of Kenmore Avenue. Both men were also charged with unlawful transportation of alcohol by a passenger. The driver, 21-year-old Matthew M. Lundin of the 900 block of Woodland Drive, Batavia, was charged with illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver, and given a ticket for driving without lights when lights are required.bull; Courtney L. Taus, 38, of the 8000 block of White Avenue, Lyons, was given a ticket for unlawful use of a handicapped-parking permit at 9:35 p.m. Sunday in a parking lot in the 500 block of Randall Road, police said.bull; Thomas A. Vassallo, 23, of the 1000 block of Westfield Course, Geneva, was charged with reckless driving and leaving the scene of a property-damage accident, at 12:43 a.m. Thursday in the parking lot of an apartment complex in the 1000 block of Lorlyn Circle, according to a police report.bull; Someone stole 250 feet of helix cable in the 1100 block of McKee Street, it was reported at 1:05 p.m. July 7, police said.
