Manning, Sanders healthy as Colts open mini-camp

INDIANAPOLIS -- Peyton Manning and Bob Sanders are feeling better than they have in a long time.

Manning spoke Friday for the first time since having offseason neck surgery. Sanders hadn't taken questions since the Indianapolis Colts put him on injured reserve with a ruptured biceps in November.

Coach Jim Caldwell was hoping Antoine Bethea, Robert Mathis and Reggie Wayne would choose to show up at the team's mandatory mini-camp.

Mathis and Wayne want to renegotiate their contracts. Both have two years left on their last deal. Bethea still hasn't signed the team's one-year tender. All three were Pro Bowl selections last season.
