Southern border needs protection

I want the southern United States border closed to illegal traffic now.

When I was in the military, we obeyed orders to defend the constitution of the United States of America. We did not argue or procrastinate to wait until orders we liked better came down.

Our president has pledged to the American voters in his oath to office, to defend the Constitution of the United States of America. The Constitution provides for the defense of our borders.

We send hundreds of thousands of our soldiers to shed their blood for other countries to defend against their Invading forces. We need this protection at our borders to stop the flow of drugs into our neighborhoods and the draining of our financial and employment resources for illegal immigrant benefits. This is a clear issue, send troops and build fences now.

Polls taken of United States Citizens regarding the closing of our southern border is not conclusive enough for our government or the President to take defensive action.

I would encourage voters to write, call or e-mail your government representatives now. They need to hear our voices and not just the voices of the protesters waving flags and demanding their rights to an open border.

This is our country. Defend it now.
