Hawks know it's time to bring their 'A' game tonight
PHILADELPHIA - The Blackhawks agree they have yet to bring their A-game in the Stanley Cup Finals and that Game 4 tonight against the Flyers would be a great place to start.
A win by the Hawks would give them a 3-1 lead in the series with Game 5 set for the United Center on Sunday night.
"We've got to be ready to play tonight and bring our best effort," Patrick Sharp said following Friday's morning skate at Wachovia Center. "I definitely think we can play better in this series. We've been good at times, but we've also had some mistakes that are uncharacteristic of our team.
"It'll be nice to be able put it all together and have a good game for 60 minutes. You've got to be concerned with what Philly's doing and their personnel and all that, but if we focus on our game, I think we'll be OK."
So far in the playoffs the Hawks are 4-0 in games after the suffered a loss.
"That's part of the personality we have as a team, they don't like losing," coach Joel Quenneville said.
"You've got to stop the bleeding as soon as you can," defenseman Brent Sopel said.
Andrew Ladd practiced Friday morning and will be a game-time decision, according to Quenneville.
