Business creates capital to run nation
If you were shocked, disappointed, and disgusted at Mexican President Calderon receiving applause and a standing ovation from the Democratic Congress, as he chastised Arizona for its immigration bill, you shouldn't have been.
This continues the anti-U.S. and anti-free enterprise attitude that has permeated this administration from the beginning. We got our first hint when Mrs. Obama said that she had never been proud of this country until now (her husband's nomination). And then the first thing President Obama did after being elected was to travel the world and tell everyone that would listen how bad we were, including the fact (?) that we were an arrogant nation.
Tell that to the hundred of thousands of widows, moms and dads, and children who lost a loved one in a war to protect the freedom that allows Obama to be president. Arrogant? I don't think so. And ask yourself: How many times have you ever heard him say anything nice about our country? He routinely criticizes pharmaceutical companies, even though they develop hundreds of lifesaving drugs, and of course he says terrible things about banks, oil companies, health insurance companies, completely ignoring the fact that these corporations hire hundreds of thousands of people just like you and me, who pay taxes and spend money that keeps the economy going.
Remember, if Obama has his way, they will be government owned and operated. And let's not forget the slam he took at doctors when he said they deliberately remove a child's tonsil just to make more money.
This administration has only one person on the cabinet who has ever been in private business. All the rest, including Obama, have always been on the public dole. They need to learn that it is private enterprise that creates capital, and that in turn funds government.
