Barrington High alumni to perform show in July
Barrington High School's performing arts alumni will reunite next month for "A Musical Revue" of their greatest hits stretching back 54 years.
A trio of differently priced shows will be staged to raise money for a new endowment fund for future students. All will take place in the auditorium of Barrington High School at 616 W. Main St.
Seats are $25 each for the "dress rehearsal" show at 7:30 p.m. Friday, July 9.
For the "family matinee" at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 10, tickets cost $40 for adults and $20 for both juniors under 16 and seniors over 65.
For the "main event" at 8 p.m. Saturday, July 10, donations of $100, $250, $500 or more are sought for seats at the fundraiser.

Among the past songs and casts that will be showcased are those from "Gilbert & Sullivan: A Medley," performed in 1956, 1959 and 1997; "Guys and Dolls," 1967 and 1999; "Fiddler on the Roof," 1971 and 1996; "Oklahoma" from 1979, 1994; "South Pacific" from 1980; "Pippin" 1987; "Man of La Mancha" 1992; "Les Miserables" 2003; and "Beauty and the Beast" 2010.
