Moe's opens in Schaumburg

Moe's Southwest Grill celebrated its grand opening Thursday at 1428 N. Meacham Road in Schaumburg.

A Gold Award winner of the 2008 Consumer's Choice in Chains Awards, the Atlanta-based chain serves fresh, made-to-order burritos and Southwest fare.

The Schaumburg Moe's, which is open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. seven days a week, is the first of 10 locations that local franchiser Andrew Ferris plans to open in the Chicago area.
