Predators sign forward Wilson to 1-year deal
NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- The Nashville Predators have signed forward Kelsey Wilson to a one-year contract.
The Predators announced the signing Monday. Wilson will earn $525,000 if he plays the entire season with Nashville. That drops to $70,000 if Wilson spends the season with the team's American Hockey League affiliate in Milwaukee.
Wilson, 24 played last season with EC Red Bull Salzburg and helped his team win the Austrian League with a league-high 265 penalty minutes. The 6-foot-1, 214-pound Wilson played the previous three seasons with Milwaukee in the AHL with 554 penalty minutes and also had 70 points.
