Blue Jackets sign F Kubalik

COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Forward Tomas Kubalik has signed an entry-level contract with the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Terms of the deal weren't disclosed Tuesday.

Kubalik had 33 goals and 42 assists for 75 points in 58 games with Victoriaville of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League last season.

The 20-year-old native of Plzen, Czech Republic, was the Blue Jackets' sixth pick, 135th overall, in the 2008 entry draft.
