VFW hosts dinner and show:The Tri-City Evergreen VFW Post 2298, 117 S. First St., West Dundee, will host a dinner and show, "Some Patsy Cline and Rock Roll," Saturday, May 15. Dinner is from 6 to 7 p.m. and the show is from 8 to 10 p.m. Dinner includes baked ham and chicken, mashed potatoes, vegetable, dinner rolls, baked beans and dessert for $25 at the door. Main St., Barrington. The Arlington Heights Bicycle Club sponsors the 31st annual Arlington 500 bicycle ride for recreational cyclists. Riders can choose one of four routes, with 30, 44, 54 or 68 miles. Those taking the longest two rides are expected to start before 9 a.m., and the others must start before 10 a.m. Fee is $15.
