Free ultrasounds in October at Harper College

Harper College's Diagnostic Cardiac and Medical Sonography programs are seeking volunteers for free non-diagnostic ultrasounds in October.

Appointments will begin next month between 3 and 7 p.m. select weekdays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays, on the Palatine campus, 1200 W. Algonquin Road.

Available exams include carotid artery, liver and arteries/veins of the legs. Exams will be performed by students on state-of-the-art equipment, under the supervision of a registered diagnostic medical sonographer.
