Motorola makes VP appointment

Schaumburg-based Motorola Inc. announced that Mark Shockley has been appointed senior vice president Global Go-to-Market for Motorola's Mobile Devices business, effective immediately.

Shockley will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Motorola's Mobile Devices sales operations globally. He will report to Sanjay Jha, Co-CEO, Motorola Inc. and CEO of Motorola's Mobile Devices and Home Business.

Shockley joined Motorola in 1979. Most recently, he was senior vice president and general manager for the Americas Region Go-to-Market for Motorola's Mobile Devices organization, where he was responsible for the financial performance and customer relationships of the Americas Region's handset business, including carrier, retail, online and alternative distribution channels.
