New church debuts Sunday
Habitat Christian Community, a nondenominational church with relationships in both the Evangelical Free Church and Assemblies of God, launches their Prospect High School location at 10 a.m. Easter Sunday, April 4. Habitat, or HCC seeks to be a church where families and individuals can live a Christ-centered life, a life that puts Jesus as priority. The young church is led by pastors Mike Handler and Mark Larson, both of whom are native to the Northwest suburbs. Prospect High School is at 801 W. Kensington Road, Mount Prospect.
