Barrington handles Hoffman Estates
• Yessica Buenrostro scored 5 goals and Erika Elliott had 3 to help Barrington (2-3, 1-3) pick up its first West Division win in girls water polo, 15-7 against Hoffman Estates on Thursday. The Hawks (3-6, 1-3) got 5 goals from Rachel Gallo.
• Leah Malsom had 5 goals and Christa Khatcherian had 3 as Wheeling topped host Rolling Meadows 12-1. The Wildcats are the only unbeaten team in the MSL East at 4-0, 8-3 overall.
• Hersey (10-3, 3-1) stayed in the thick of the MSL East race with a 10-1 victory over Elk Grove.
• Meg Dix scored 4 goals as host Prospect (4-2, 3-1) earned a 7-4 victory against Buffalo Grove. Angela Rodriguez and Kate Emerson scored 2 goals apiece for the Bison (4-5, 1-3).
