Bears DE Anderson signs one-year tender

The Bears announced the signing of restricted free agent defensive end Mark Anderson. Anderson signed his one-year tender offer from the Bears.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

In four seasons with the Bears, Anderson has started 17 of 62 games played, recording 130 tackles, 21.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, 13 tackles for losses and seven pass break ups.

In 2006, Anderson registered 12 sacks, the most ever by a Bears rookie and most by a Chicago player since Richard Dent recorded 13.5 in 1993.
