Look at the positive in health care law

I have been concerned about health care since I was a young pregnant married woman and was told my health insurance did not cover pregnancy. Later in my life, one child, then unemployed, could not purchase health insurance at any price because of a pre-existing condition.

Luckily, nothing dire happened but this situation could have been a catastrophe. I could cite other examples of insurance company problems but instead let's look at the positive. Now every citizen will be able to purchase or be helped to purchase health insurance. Will we have to pay for this? Of course. Ultimately, it will pay all of us back in more financial security for ordinary people, better health, no catastrophic dropping of coverage for those who are ill, no loss of health care for children of the unemployed etc.

As for the conservatives who often talk about our country as a Christian nation, what about Matthew 25:35-40? "I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."
