Warrenville man dies in crash
An 80-year-old Warrenville man was killed Wednesday morning after he was involved in a single-car accident along I-80 in Joliet, according to the Will County coroner's office.
David Hager was pronounced dead at 11:53 a.m. Wednesday at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center. Hager was brought to the Joliet hospital after the car he was driving crashed on westbound I-80 at Larkin Avenue, authorities said.
Illinois State Police District 5 officials said they are investigating but were unable to provide details about the incident because of a computer problem. A Friday autopsy is planned to determine the cause of Hager's death.
Funeral arrangements were pending.
