Crystal Lake concert set in honor of Chopin's 200th birthday

In "A Celebration of Chopin's 200th Birthday" the Bethany Arts Series presents concert pianist Raymond Jackson at 4 p.m. Sunday, April 25. Jackson, a graduate of the Julliard School of Music and the New England Conservatory, will perform music of Chopin from his March performance at the Embassy of Poland in Washington, D.C. Jackson is Professor of Music at Howard University in Washington, D.C.

The concert will be held at Bethany Lutheran Church, 76 W. Crystal Lake Ave., Crystal Lake. A freewill offering will be taken. For more information, call the church office at (815) 459-2690.
