Hefty bond in assault involving child

A Cook County judge set a $50,000 bond for a Hanover Park man charged with assault in connection with allegedly touching an 8-year-old girl inappropriately.

Ramiro Toledo, 40, 2460 Leslie Lane, was arrested Thursday.

Toledo also was charged with possession of fraudulent identification, prosecutors said during a hearing at the Rolling Meadows courthouse Saturday.

His next court date is April 14.
