Elginbull; Four shots were fired in the front of a home on the 500 block of Enterprise Street about 9:47 p.m. Saturday, police reports said. No injuries or damage was reported and no immediate arrests were made, according to the report.bull; Enrry M. Flores, 29, of the 800 block of Salem Lane, Carpentersville, was arrested at 4:55 p.m. Friday at Walmart, 1001 N. Randall Road, and later charged with felony retail theft, according to police reports. Flores is accused of stealing $210 worth of CDs, automotive items and other merchandise.bull; Josue Martinez-Hernandez, 28, of the 300 block of Silver Street, Elgin, was arrested at 3:03 a.m. Saturday and later charged with criminal damage to property, according to a police report. He is accused of using a bottle to break a window in the 0-99 block of Grove Avenue. He is due in court April 14.bull; Two 5-gallon drums of paint were stolen from a store on the 900 block of Randall Road about 2:33 p.m. Saturday, according to police.bull; Richmond Lee, 19, of the 600 block of Keep Avenue, Elgin, was arrested and charged with alcohol consumption at 9:44 p.m. Sunday after police were called to the 600 block of Keep for an argument, reports said.McHenry Countybull; A 31-year-old man was arrested and charged with running a marijuana-growing operation out of his Woodstock home, police said. Stanley T. Nieder of the 600 block of Hickory Road was charged with unlawful production of cannabis plants, unlawful possession of cannabis and unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, felonies that carry a maximum sentence of two to five years in prison. Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at Nieder's home March 26, finding more than 500 grams of marijuana and 140 cannabis plants, the department said. Nieder was released after posting $4,000 bond. His next court date is Wednesday.bull; A 51-year-old motorcyclist from Crystal Lake was hospitalized Sunday after losing control of his Harley Davidson, police said. Robert W. Green was riding west on Mason Hill Road about 2:30 p.m. Sunday when he lost control on a curve. Green was flown to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, where he was in serious but stable condition as of Monday afternoon. Police say Green was not wearing a helmet. McHenry County Sheriff's police are investigating the incident.Kane Countybull; Anthony M. Lira, 38, of the 0-99 block of Fox Avenue, West Dundee, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Thursday on a warrant for contempt of court in McHenry County, police said. He was taken into custody after being pulled over for driving with only one taillight at North Eighth and Main Streets near West Dundee. bull; Steven A. Savoy, 21, of the 100 block of Walnut Drive, St. Charles, was arrested at 4:39 a.m. Wednesday and charged with misdemeanor counts of cannabis possession and possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop on Randall Road, south of Crane Road, near St. Charles, according to a police report. bull; An unknown object thrown from a wooded area along Skyline Drive near Carpentersville smashed the windshield of a passing vehicle shortly before 8 p.m. Wednesday. The object then hit another vehicle, damaging its grille, according to a police report.Fox River Grovebull; Police are reporting a vandalism spree in which a suspect drew and spray painted lewd graffiti and egged several vehicles between Sunday and Monday in the 400 block of Morgan Lane, the 500 block of Essex Road, the 700 block of Hunters Way and the 300 block of Lexington Avenue.
