Sam Barone and Trish Donlon each scored 2 goals Monday as Bartlett's girls soccer team raced past Elgin 7-0 in the first round of the South Elgin Invitational.

Lisa Palmer, Aubrey Czekajlo and Christina Collazo each added single goals for the Hawks while Erin Zaideman made 3 saves in goal. Barone and Nikki Noreen each had assists for the Hawks.

Sadiola Ramirex had 4 saves in goal for Elgin.

Bartlett 2, Hampshire 0: Amanda Zindel scored off an assist from Lyndsay Bruzzini and Lisa Palmer assisted Nicole Gobbo's goal as Bartlett blanked Hampshire in the South Elgin Invitational behind 18 saves from Erin Zaideman in goal.

Haylee Moscato had 15 saves in goal for the Whip-Purs.

West Chicago 6, Elgin 1: Nohemi Farfan scored Elgin's lone goal in this South Elgin Invitational loss. Sadiola Ramirez had 3 saves in the net for the Maroons.
