Tickets are $25 and include dinner, dessert, drinks, raffles, and live and silent auctions. The fundraiser supports athletics at Kaneland's middle and high schools. The award recognizes organizations, businesses and governmental units that show leadership promoting and implementing sustainable development and protecting natural resources. Aurora was recognized for restoring the Fox River, its energy-efficient buildings, using clean fuel in vehicles and water conservation.
