Remember who is most important
Over the past seven days, at least 21 brave American servicemen have given their last full measure of devotion on foreign soil to keep this great nation secure and her people free.
Not so surprisingly, the sacrifices of our devoted, loyal military and first responders go unnoticed by a media bent upon following the clowns, malcontents of our society: a convicted former Illinois governor absent any remorse after his graft, corruption and malfeasance devastated an already bankrupt state and a spoiled brat heiress to billions with nothing more to show for her pathetic life than an insatiable appetite for attention of any kind.
The beauty of America lies in her unbridled freedoms and limitless opportunity purchased in a most profound manner with the blood and treasure of her real patriots. Pop culture, self-absorbed icons and media-sustained celebrity knuckleheads notwithstanding, our real allegiance, tribute and homage rest with those behind the scenes, quietly walking their posts to ensure that America remains the "last best hope of earth." May God comfort and keep those families bearing that horrific burden of loss with the knowledge that all Americans past, present and future sincerely appreciate their family member's service and selflessness.
