Friends of Shelter trivia night

Friends of Shelter will host a trivia night fundraiser Oct. 23 at the Queen of the Rosary Church, 690 W. Elk Grove Blvd., in Elk Grove Village.

Doors open at 6 p.m.; the event begins at 7 p.m. Teams will compete for prizes for the most correct answers and the "best themed" table.

There will be a silent auction and raffles. Register a team of eight or register individually and bring in your own food and beverages. Cost is $160 for a team of eight; $25 for individuals.
