Buffalo Grove bull; Artem Adamovich, 19, of the 1200 block of Roth Court, Wheeling, was arrested around 10:30 a.m. Oct. 1 on the 200 block of Old Oak Drive and charged with criminal trespass. Reports said he had entered a clubhouse at the same location around 9:30 a.m. Sept. 30. bull; Emily Rose Tjardes, 22, of the 1000 block of Kenilworth, Wheeling, was arrested around 11:25 p.m. Sept. 29 in a store lot at 770 S. Buffalo Grove Road and charged with felony filing a false police report. Reports said Tjardes falsely stated that while walking in the parking lot she was attacked by a male subject.bull; Vandals smashed windows on cars parked in the south lot at Bob Rohrman Chrysler, 925 W. Dundee Road, around 6:30 p.m. Oct. 2. bull; Thieves stole a cell phone out of a purse during the homecoming dance at Buffalo Grove High School, 1100 W. Dundee Road, around 12:10 a.m. Oct. 3. bull; An intoxicated male walked into a home on the 0-100 block of University Drive around 4:30 a.m. Oct. 3. An alarm woke the male resident who found the home invader standing in his living room. The intoxicated subject then walked outside. He told officers he was looking for a friend's home which is in the area. The friend wanted nothing to do with the subject, so officers took him to the station where his parents picked him up. bull; Burglars ransacked a car in a driveway on the 400 block of LeParc Circle around 5:05 a.m. Oct. 3 and stole a navigation system. bull; Burglars ransacked two unlocked vehicles on the 500 block of LeParc Circle between 4 p.m. Oct. 2 and 5:10 a.m. Oct. 3. bull; Vandals slashed a driver's-side seat and door panel in a car on the 2000 block of Jordan Terrace between Sept. 25 and 29. bull; Burglars stole a wallet out of a purse in an unlocked van in a lot at 701 W. Aptakisic Road around 6:10 p.m. Sept. 29. bull; Burglars stole a navigation system out of an unlocked vehicle in a driveway on the 900 block of Prague Avenue between 10:30 p.m. Sept. 28 and 7 a.m. Sept. 29.Elk Grove Village bull; Mateusz A. Gasior, 22, of the 100 block of Boardwalk, Elk Grove Village, was arrested around 7:15 a.m. Sept. 25 at his home and charged with resisting a peace officer and disorderly conduct. His court date is Oct. 25. bull; Maria M. Lopez, 38, of the 100 block of Inverness Court, Elk Grove Village, was arrested around 4:30 p.m. Sept. 25 at Walmart, 801 Meacham Road, and charged with retail theft. Her court date is Oct. 26. bull; Marshall E. Boykin, 38, of the 2400 block of West Cantey, Ft. Worth, Texas, was arrested around 2:30 p.m. Sept. 28 at 960 Elk Grove Town Center and charged with criminal damage to property. His court date is Oct. 19.bull; Burglars stole all the copper wiring from the service panels and ceiling conduit in an unlocked building at 2195 Arthur Ave. between Sept. 7 and 27. Value was estimated at $10,000. bull; Vandals damaged the front entrance marquee sign at Central Azion Co., 2121 Touhy Ave., between 7 a.m. Sept. 24 and 6 a.m. Sept. 27. Damage was estimated at $1,000. bull; Burglars ransacked offices at IK Distributors, 1125 Touhy Ave., between 4:50 p.m. Sept. 24 and 6 a.m. Sept. 25 and stole a laptop computer valued at $1,000.Streamwood bull; Sammi M. Shaikh, 61, of the 100 block of Rosewood, Streamwood, was arrested around 4:40 p.m. Sept. 27 at his home and charged with aggravated assault and unlawful use of a weapon. Reports said he grabbed an ax in the garage and gouged the door connecting the garage and house. Family members had locked the door because he had pushed his wife during an argument, the reports said. bull; Burglars stole a GPS unit valued at $400 out of a 2010 Hyundai on the 100 block of Abbeywood Circle between noon Sept. 28 and 4 p.m. Sept. 29. bull;Thieves stole a boys' silver 26-inch bike outside the Poplar Creek Library, 1405 S. Park Ave., between 1:30 and 4:23 p.m. Oct. 1. Value was estimated at $100.
