Nurse sees need for health reform
I am a nurse in an OB-GYN office. I see first hand how not having insurance or the high cost of insurance is affecting women. They put off having pap smears and mammograms because they have no insurance due to job loss, or it just costs too much. It is time to make a change and I believe in President Obama. We need to do this now, not next year or the year after. I believe we are close to passing health care reform but Congress needs to finish the job. We cannot give up now, we are closer than we have ever been. Our elected officials need to do what is right, not just think about what might get them elected.
