Fine arts fest coming in District 59

District 59 will hold a Fine Arts Festival on Saturday, March 6, 2010 from 1-3 p.m. at Friendship Junior High School. There will be displays of visual arts, vocal and instrumental music performances, and dance and drama performances from students of all grade levels.

Families and community members are encouraged to attend. Students from the following schools will perform: Robert Frost Elementary School, Devonshire Elementary School, Brentwood Elementary School and Friendship Jr. High School.

The District 59 Fine Arts staff and students from the Friendship Cluster have been working very hard to prepare for the Festival. The display of talent by the youth of our school community will delight you! Friendship Jr. High School is at 550 Elizabeth Lane, Des Plaines.
