Diegel, 18, of the 21000 block of Greenwood Drive, Hawthorn Woods, was arrested at 6:50 p.m. Jan. 28 at Dominick's, 450 Half Day Road, and charged with theft, possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia. A loss prevention official reported seeing a youth take a bottle of liquor and place it under his jacket, then detained the youth as he attempted to leave the store without paying, reports said.bull; A man met with a subject to purchase DJ equipment at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 28 in the 700 block of Clohesey Drive, and handed the subject $300 in cash, at which point the subject fled behind the house and disappeared. Northwest Hwy., around 7:30 p.m. Jan. 29.Buffalo Grovebull; A traffic altercation ended in a couple of minor collisions, police said. Two drivers were arguing about erratic driving when they came to a red light about 7 p.m. Feb. 2 on the 1100 block of West Dundee Road. One driver then backed up, striking the other car. When the second car attempted to back up to avoid the collision, the second car struck another vehicle behind him. The first car left the area in an unknown direction.bull; Buffalo Grove police handled 1,208 calls for service and 106 vehicle crashes during January. Wylie, 19, of the 10 S. 600 block of Lilac Lane, Willowbrook, and Arnold L. Wylie Jr., 20, of the 10 S. 600 block of Lilac Lane, Willowbrook, (two separate addresses on the same street), were arrested around 9:30 p.m. Jan. 30 after an officer stopped their van on the 1100 block of East Oakton Street, and charged them with theft. Reports said employees at Sams Club, 101 W. Oakton St., saw them loading used tires in the van. They admitted stealing approximately 10 tires from the fenced area at the rear of the store and taking other used tires from PEP Boys in Chicago Ridge, Melrose Park and Hodgkins and from a Sam's Club in Northlake, reports said. Officers found 32 tires in the van. Their court date is Feb. 16.bull; Bart A. Christopher, 22, of the 1800 block of East Hopi Lane, Mount Prospect, was arrested around 8:40 p.m. Jan. 30 on the 1800 block of East Busse Highway and charged with a traffic violation, and local ordinance possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia (grinder). Gershon, 46, of the 0-100 block of St. Michaels Drive, Bourbonnais, was arrested around 1:40 a.m. Jan. 30 at The Bar, 1696 E. Oakton St., and charged with two counts of battery after a fight where four men and two women were injured. A court date is March 11.bull; Vandals used black spray paint and shoe polish to write graffiti on five white International trucks belonging to a moving company, Two Men and a Truck, between 8 p.m. Jan. 30 and 8:48 a.m. Jan. 31 in a lot at 2434 E. Dempster St.Hoffman Estatesbull; Willie D. White, 29, of the 300 block of South Blue Island, Chicago, was arrested around 1:25 a.m. Jan. 23 at Hyatt Place hotel, 2750 Greenspoint Parkway, and charged with battery to a peace officer and resisting a peace officer. An officer discovered a loud party in a fourth-floor guest room, and White knocked the officer into a hallway wall while running from the room, reports said. The officer was treated at St. Alexius Medical Center in Hoffman Estates. A court date is March 12.Mount Prospectbull; Andrew J. Kolbiaz, 38, of the 1100 block of Georgetown Way, Vernon Hills, was arrested around 3:25 p.m. Jan. 26 at the police department and charged with telephone threat and harassment. Reports said he phoned a Mount Prospect couple on the 1800 block of West Palm Drive several times between Dec. 6 and 13, threatened them and played loud music into the phone because he believed they had cheated his girlfriend. Brown, 43, of the 800 block of West 33rd, Chicago, was arrested around 1:05 p.m. Jan. 25 at Walmart, 930 Mount Prospect Plaza, Rand and Central roads, and charged with theft. Reports said employee Brown made $250 in fraudulent returns and transactions in the vision department and pocketed the money between Jan. 5 and 20. Someone tried to use credit cards in the purse but they were denied. Loss was estimated at $600. bull; Allison C. McPherson, 37, of the 2700 block of Buffalo Grove Road, Arlington Heights, was arrested around 3 p.m. Jan. 29 at Dominick's, 615 E. Dundee Road, and charged with retail theft. Reports said she took four bottles of alcohol valued at $136.Rolling Meadowsbull; Richard A. Ciscernos, 18, of the 3100 block of Falcon Court, Rolling Meadows, and a 16-year-old male from Rolling Meadows were arrested at 5:31 p.m. Jan. 27 by the vacant Dominick's store, 2855 Kirchoff Road, and charged with criminal damage to property and unlawful possession of cannabis. Reports said an officer on patrol observed fresh graffiti spray-painted on the rear of the building and with other officers tracked fresh footprints in the snow to a vehicle parked a block away in the 2700 block of Martin Lane. Ciscernos' next court date is March 17.bull; Daniel Hudyka, 36, of the 5100 block of Carriageway Drive, Rolling Meadows, was arrested at 12:52 p.m. Jan. 24 in the 5100 block of Carriageway Drive and charged with domestic battery and resisting arrest. Officers were advised by a female complainant that during an argument, Hudyka pushed her to the floor, causing her to injure her arm, threatened to kill her and wrote that threat on her door, reports said. As the complainant went to show an officer the written threat, Hudyka moved toward the complainant, continuing as an officer intervened to hold him back, reports said. His next court date is Feb. 9.bull; Gerber A. Guerrero, 29, of the 5400 block of Astor Lane, Rolling Meadows, was arrested at 3:34 a.m. Jan. 29 near his residence and charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property. The complainant reported that during an argument while parked outside the building, Guerrero produced a knife or corkscrew and began to cut himself. When the complainant tried to stop Guerrero, he smashed the windshield of the complainant's vehicle and cut the complainant on the lower right cheek and right jaw, reports said. The complainant was treated by the paramedics and released. The victim placed her phone on the floor next to a table in the children's room while kneeling next to the table. Reports said he dropped a drug pipe while being interviewed by an officer outside a car.
