More disabled parking enforcement at Woodfield
Illinois Secretary of State Police will again be cracking down on people abusing the disability parking program at Woodfield Mall on Sunday, Dec. 18. Since Black Friday, throughout Illinois, Secretary of State Police have issued 150 citations for those parking in disability parking spaces and have seized 90 disability placards being used illegally. The fine for parking illegally in a disability space can be as much as $350, while the penalty for wrongful use of a placard can be a fine of $500 and a drivers license suspension.
