Library to hold raffle for some classic toys

The Friends of the Town & Country Public Library, 320 E. North St. in Elburn, will hold a raffle for Wedding Fantasy 1989 Barbie and a John Deere Monster Treads Gator toy tractor.

The Barbie doll was donated by Fran and Marty Kitz of Elburn. This is the sixth year they have donated a collector’s item to the Friends of the Library. The toy tractor was donated by Hogan Walker, John Deere dealer of Elburn. Both items are on display at the library.

Tickets are $1 each, or six for $5, and are available at the circulation desk.

The drawing will be held at noon Saturday, Dec. 10, in the library. Winner need not be present to win. All proceeds benefit the library.
