Streamwood, Burlington Central earn wins

Streamwood’s boys basketball team fell behind 16-10 after one quarter Friday but came back to defeat host Wheeling 71-62 in the final round of the 34th annual Wildcat Hardwood Classic.

Brandon Larkin-Guilfoyle led the Sabres (3-11) with 20 points, while Vince Williams added 16 and Julius Evans 12. Dalton Lundeen had 8 rebounds for Streamwood.

Burlington Central 55, Indian Creek 32: Ryan Ritchie and Ray Hunnicutt scored 13 points each to lead the Rockets (8-6) to a win in the 11th place game of the Plano tournament. Moter Deng added 8 points for BC while Hunnicutt had 9 rebounds and Duncan Ozburn pulled down 6.
