Socialism is the path to destruction
Hopefully the American public has been paying attention to the harsh downward slide of many of the European countries. Headlines are screaming, “Spanish voters oust Socialist” and “ Greece’s health system collapsing” and “Italian premier steps down — new austerity measures installed” and many, many others.
What do most of these countries have in common? There all run by socialists, and socialism has never worked. Many of the measures that are being put in place to try to save their countries include lower taxes, reduce spending, reduce regulation, cut entitlements, cut pensions, cut education, and most public programs, increased work hours, fewer weeks vacation.
These are drastic measures, but there is no other choice. The one country left that is on a fairly strong footing is Germany, and they will no longer support governments that are not financially stable.
Now, does all this sound familiar. Of course it does. The Obama administration is heading us down this same path to destruction. The riots you see in Greece are a result of austerity measures being put into place. Once the public gets a freebie, of course they don’t want to give it up. But it has to be.
But Obama wants to spend more and more. He doesn’t seem to care. Adding another $450 billion jobs program will just put us closer to the brink of bankruptcy. He is only interested in getting re-elected. Who cares about the debt? So remember as our leader goes on television every day criticizing every one and every thing, it’s all directed at next November. Right now, he could care less about the country.
