Man charged with DUI in Naperville crash

A 63-year-old Naperville man was in custody Thursday, charged with DUI and running a red light in connection with a Wednesday afternoon crash that seriously injured two.

Police still are investigating, but Naperville Sgt. Gregg Bell said Randall Stall drove his blue GMC Yukon SUV through a red light just after 3 p.m. at the intersection of Martin Avenue and Washington Street, causing the four-vehicle crash.

Also involved were a Ford Expedition, Ford Taurus and a Dodge.

Two people were transported to the hospital with serious but nonlife-threatening injuries, and five others involved in the crash refused treatment.

Police are expected to release more details later today.
