CCU sponsors homebuying seminar
Consumers Credit Union is bringing back its popular seminar, “Home Buying Made Easy.”
The member-owned credit union has teamed up with Consumers Cooperative Association, its sponsor, to provide practical answers to questions about home values, financing options, purchasing decisions and more.
“Everyone buying a home has many questions, whether they’re first-time homebuyer or someone who’s been through the process before,” said Sean M. Rathjen, CCU president. “‘Home Buying Made Easy’ will provide the answers these folks need to make intelligent purchasing decision, including helpful information on how to determine the value of their prospective new home, how to sort through financing options, tips for handling paperwork and other information to help make home buying the joyous experience it should be.”
The event is set for Wednesday, Nov. 9, at Keylime Cove Resort, Gurnee. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. and the seminar starts at 6 p.m. Seating is limited. RSVP to Cedric Ivy at CedricI@myconsumers.org or (847) 265-5541
Seminar presenters include experts from every aspect of the home-buying process, including loan officers and real estate agents.
