Walker to talk about jobs at panel discussion
MADISON, Wis. — Gov. Scott Walker has job creation on his mind this week.
Walker is hosting a jobs creation forum in Madison on Monday at MGE Innovation Center in the University of Wisconsin Research Park. Walker is also scheduled to discuss job creation at a forum Tuesday organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce.
More than 200 business executives are expected to attend that panel discussion on Tuesday in Madison.
A researcher with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce will present information about how to improve Wisconsin’s economy and Walker and business executives are expected to react to the findings.
U.S. Chamber of Commerce vice president Doug Loon was also slated to comment on Wisconsin’s business climate.
