Minor crash leads to major headaches on I-90

A two-vehicle crash has traffic backed up for miles in the eastbound lanes of the Jane Addams Tollway near Roselle Road today, Illinois State Police officials said.

The left lane of eastbound traffic remained closed more than an hour after the crash first was reported at 11:16 a.m., authorities said.

The Hoffman Estates Fire Department responded to the crash and is still on the scene. Responders found only minor injuries and no one had been hospitalized, according to state police.

The cause of the accident was unknown, but state police said the closed lane should reopen within the hour,
