Lions sign Fuller, drop McClendon
ALLEN PARK, Mich. — The Detroit Lions have signed safety Vincent Fuller and released guard Jacques McClendon.
The team announced the moves Thursday. Fuller played from 2005-10 with the Tennessee Titans, where Lions coach Jim Schwartz used to be the defensive coordinator. Fuller started five games over the last three seasons with Tennessee.
The Lions claimed McClendon off waivers earlier this season, but he didn’t play. McClendon played in four games last season for the Indianapolis Colts.
