Naperville Central:Nora Palermo had 12 kills and Julia Conard 11, and defending DVC champ West Chicago (20-10, 7-7) denied No. 14 Naperville Central a share of the conference title with a 26-24, 24-26, 25-23 win. Sammie Condon had 6 kills and 3 blocks for Naperville Central (21-14, 11-3), which came back from down 18-10 in the third set but couldn#146;t quite close the deal. Alysia Baznik had 9 kills and 10 assists.Hinsdale South d. Hinsdale Central:Jessica Brezwyn put down 7 kills for the No. 7 Hornets, who beat short-handed Hinsdale Central 25-18, 25-21. The 10th-ranked Red Devils (16-14) played without Michigan-bound outside Ally Davis, who reinjured her knee in Tuesday#146;s match with York. Davis will not play this weekend at the Downers Grove North Invite as a precaution to recover for regionals next week. Katie Grabowski had 6 kills for Hinsdale Central.
