Prospect recognizes distinguished alumni

Prospect High School will recognize two distinguished alumni, Dr. Colin Kaide and the Rev. Newell Krogmann, next week during the school’s homecoming celebration.

Kaide is an associate professor of clinical emergency medicine and an attending physician at Ohio State University. He has been named Teacher of the Year at Ohio State and has several publications to his name. Kaide graduated from Prospect in 1985.

Krogmann is an ordained pastor and an attorney. He has served as a military judge in the U.S. Navy and received two medals as a naval officer. He also served as a Rotary Club president in Le Suer, Minn. Krogmann graduated from Prospect in 1962.

The distinguished alumni will spend time with students and answer their questions on Tuesday, Oct. 11. There will be a reception recognizing the honorees following the homecoming coronation.
