Vision care products coming to Schaumburg

In an effort to reach out to Northwest suburban residents and their family members who may be experiencing vision loss, Chicago Lighthouse is bringing its Low Vision Products Road Show to Schaumburg Thursday, Oct. 20. The free program, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Friendship Village, 350 W. Schaumburg Road, will showcase state of the art technology such as CCTVs, talking clocks and watches, large button phones and cellphones, portable reading devices, accessible software, voice activated GPS and many more items.
