Wauconda community service
The village of Wauconda will accept nominations for the 2011 Mayor’s Community Service Awards until Aug. 1. The award recognizes youths and adults, organizations and businesses that have had a significant, positive impact on the community. Recognizing volunteers sets a standard for community service, encourages a commitment to civic participation and inspires others.
