Sip your 8-a-day in style

As the weather heats up and the summer sun grows increasingly intense, one piece of advice gets louder and louder: Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate.

Solutions for keeping hydrated — aka drinking water — have become so numerous — and so colorful — in recent years. Reusable water bottles have moved from utilitarian vessels to stylish accessories.

“Some water bottles are so beautifully designed that they go beyond practical,” said Lisa Casey Weiss, lifestyle consultant for the International Housewares Association. “They've evolved into this design-oriented product.”

She said the number of reusable bottles featured at the annual housewares expo in Chicago earlier this year exceeded her expectations. “When I think there can't be another one, there are 10 more,” she said.

Whether you spend your days at the office, in the garden or the beach, you're sure to find a container that fits your lifestyle. The ones featured here are just a drop in the bucket, so to speak, but will give you an idea of what's out there.
