Palatine Library hosts used book sale June 17-19

The Friends of the Palatine Public Library will hold a used book sale June 17-19 at the library, 700 N. North Court. The sale will take place 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 12:30 to 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission on the first day is $5 for patrons who aren’t members of the Friends group, and free the final two days. The sale features discounted books, CDs and DVDs donated by the community. Prices are reduced the final day. All proceeds benefit the library. The Friends group funds the Summer Reading Program and recently allocated funds for new furniture and renovations.
