Palatine church hosts women’s retreat

The Spirited Women of Christ Lutheran Church, Palatine, invites all women to its Sisters Soul Journey retreat. The spiritual journey, aimed at refreshing the soul through meditation, prayer, massage, laughter and sharing, will take place from 6 to 10 p.m. Friday, July 22, and from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 23, at the Hyatt Regency Woodfield, 1800 E. Golf Road, Schaumburg. Parish nurse Diane Tieman will speak. The cost is $45. Rooms for overnight stay and massage therapists are available.
