Man charged in Crystal Lake prostitution case
A Chicago man has been charged after forcing a Crystal Lake woman to work as a prostitute for four days, according to police.
Chester Nelson, 36, of the 1700 block of West Albion Avenue in the Rogers Park neighborhood has been charged with involuntary servitude, said Chicago Police Officer Anne Dwyer.
Police said Nelson forced the Crystal Lake woman to work as a prostitute starting on June 6 until his arrest in an alley Friday afternoon on the west side of Chicago near Oak Park.
Nelson appeared in bond court Sunday morning where bail was set at $250,000.
